The GAA has reduced admission prices for Sunday’s Allianz NFL finals at Croke Park.
Sunday’s double-header involving Kerry and Derry in Division 1 and Monaghan and Cork in Division 2 will bring the curtain down on league football action following the Division 3 and 4 finals which take place a day earlier in Longford.
Tickets for Sunday’s action at Croke Park are priced at €25 - €5 less than last year’s final admission prices - and group passes are also available for these games.
GAA President Criostóir Ó Cuana, who will present the first trophies of his tenure this weekend, is looking forward to a feast of football as Kerry and Derry contest the top-flight final for the second consecutive year.
‘Our 2009 football leagues peak this weekend with no fewer than four finals and the Division 1 and 2 games offer followers of the counties involved and all football supporters a chance to come to Croke Park for early season action,’ Ó Cuana said.
‘As a gesture of gratitude to the supporters who have made this year’s competitions a success, we have reduced adult ticket prices for Sunday’s game and are also offering excellent value group passes for Croke Park.
‘Last year’s Kerry v Derry final clash was a fine spectacle and both Cork and Monaghan will come to the capital with real hopes of claiming one of the first national inter-county titles of the 2009 season.’
Group passes are available for clubs and schools looking to give their young players a chance to see the action and work out at €3 per juvenile, while one adult goes free for every 10 juveniles.
Groups will be seated together in the lower Cusack Stand.
